Dr. Pinelo received her Medical Degree from Universidad Peruana de Cienciaas Aplicadas. She then completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Jacobs School of Medicine in Buffalo NY. Dr Pinelo is attending Howard University for her Infectious Disease fellowship.
Dr. Pinelo loves the fact that she continues seeing a person as a whole. ID is a specialty that allows her to see all systems and organs but with a single focus at the same time. Sometimes we serve as investigators trying to find out what is really going on with the patient. And because we need very thorough information, the patient/doctor relationship becomes excellent.
When Dr. Pinelo is not working, she likes going to the movies or watching a good TV show. Live entertainment is always welcome.
