Arlene Blanco received her Family Nurse Practitioner certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
She earned her MSN-FNP degree at United States University in San Diego, CA, and
went on to complete her Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nursing (WOCN) Program at Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia in 2012.
Arlene’s passion for wound care started when she was a bedside nurse and experienced taking care of patients with chronic wounds. Their quality of life was greatly affected. She was inspired to be a strong advocate for wounds and wound healing and feels it is rewarding to see patients’ wounds heal using evidence-based practices and witness them regain their quality of life.
When Arlene is not healing wounds, she is usually hanging out with her family, attending concerts, hiking easy trails, or going for a quick getaway in Utah or California.
