Dr. Peck completed his undergraduate work at Brigham Young University-Idaho, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. He then attended podiatry school at Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa. Following medical school he completed a three-year surgical residency training at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
When Dr. Peck was 16 years old, he broke the talus bone in both of his ankles riding dirt bikes. As a result, at a young age he learned the value and importance of healthy, functioning feet. When he finished his undergraduate degree, Dr. Peck was introduced to a podiatrist who invited him to shadow him during surgery. This experience opened his eyes to the wide variety of care that podiatrists are able to provide – from wound care and toenail fungus to deformities and trauma. Dr. Peck’s passion for helping people literally get back on their feet was a natural fit that has grown ever since.
Outside of work he likes to spend quality time with his wife, son, and ginormous dog, cooking barbecue, flying, and driving (and crashing and fixing) remote-controlled toys, watching comedy, woodworking, and driving anything that goes fast.
